Zari accuses Diamond of neglecting children as he plans to pay rent for 500 families
South African-based Ugandan businesswoman Zari Hassan on April 26 shamed her ex Diamond Platnumz after making public his initiative to provide shelter for 500 families during the coronavirus pandemic.
In a viral post, Zari accused Diamond of not knowing what his kids eat or how they get medical care as he does not financially provide for them.
“But you don’t know what your kids eat, or how they sleep if fees and medical insurance is paid. You will never please the world when your own are not happy and taken care of. You are selling a lie. Some people have become clowns to some of us,” Zari Hassan.
Not long after, Diamond acknowledged seeing Zari’s post and explained that he had reached out to her and tabled their differences.

The WCB CEO said he hopes to iron things out with Zari after the coronavirus pandemic and come to an agreement on how to their two children.
“Baada ya kuona ujumbe ule wa @zarithebosslady , nilimpigia simu na kumueleza, licha ya tofauti zetu Ila bado namuheshimu Sana. Alinielewa na nadhani baada ya corona Kuisha tutapanga namna ya kuwalea watoto wetu pamoja,” said Diamond.
A few days ago, the popular Tanzanian singer pledged to house 500 families for three months in a bid to assist in the fight against the virus which has crippled businesses in Tanzanian and across the globe.

“I pretty much know that at these terrible times where we are all fighting global pandemic COVID-19, countless life circumstances have changed especially in businesses; many businesses are drowning hence, financial difficulties and life becoming a little bit tough to many of us.
“Although I am amongst those affected by this pandemic on economy, with the little that God has blessed me with, I have decided to at least offer a helping hand by paying three months house rent to 500 families as my kind gesture of helping one another during these terrible... On Monday I shall announce the procedure on how these 500 families shall receive house rent,” announced the Baba Lao crooner.
The virus hit close to home for Diamond after his Manager Sallam SK and his producer Iraju Hamisi Mjege better known as Lizer Classic tested positive for the virus.
A section of the WCB crew including Diamond was put on mandatory quarantine and later tested negative for the virus after 14 days.
